Well, I still stand by what I had posted earlier! cool

I fished below the Mission boat ramp on both Monday, and also today. Almost no boats on that section of the Cowlitz, when just 2 days ago, you could not find a place to even park…I wonder why?

If fish were being caught in any numbers at all, the boat ramps would be jammed packed even during the week! Just thought that you guys that still may think it's going to be a "banner year", would like an update. Yes, the water is still very low, and that should make this area very hot for fishing if any numbers of fish were there now!

That is not the case, and don't let the BS's tell you otherwise. Maybe that will change, (I hope I am wrong) but so far it hasn't changed. If you are intending to hire a guide, you should first make sure that he tells you first, what he caught the day before, and in what "general area" that he intends to take you fishing in (i.e. Blue Creek to I-5, or wherever). The "Cowlitz" is just a "little bit" too general for my money! laugh

I have a great new thread in mind, and I will post it as soon as I can. evil
