I had a cougar check me out on the North Fork of the Sky by Index.
I saw a bobcat outside Forks.
I surprised a black bear in a creek not 20 feet from me on the Pacific Crest trail.
It's amazing I haven't been turned into a pile of scat by now. Every one of these saw what I was and took off terrified. Couldn't be my looks could it?
They are more afraid of us then we are of them and we aren't good to eat either.
