You could just make a fool of yourself and further convince Gibbons that he's right to ignore you. Or you might ask him what contributes most to the Quilayute system being the best steelhead fishery in the world: 1) all the headwaters are in a national park; 2) the heavy rain makes the rivers unfishable to recreational and commercial fishers alike for much of each season; 3) the excellent management of WDFW. If he answers 3, then ask why all rivers under WDFW management aren't the best steelhead fisheries in the world.
