It's an American Mariner 26'. I just bought it not too long ago, and the previous owner didn't use it much, so we're working on making it a little easier to sail, running all the lines aft, adding or replacing blocks, etc. I like it because it has a shallow draft (28") and is easy to launch from the trailer but has about 1400 lb. ballast so it'll get me across the straits to Victoria. Cheap on gas. I haven't trolled from a sail boat, but they're great fun working a buzz bomb or even jigging for flatties. I'll have to try the fly as that's one of my favorite Sekiu methods.

Thanks Stam, I think...I put off yard work to recuperate from the wicked sunburn and tired tiller arms, my neighbors hate me for it too. Oh well, you only live once.
