Way to go Big Stick you have the natives all fired up. A few of them see themselves as the local fishing legends so they are having a little trouble accepting you. Most of them are left leaning wanna be environmenatlist so they will not understand nor like your pic of the "bigstick" or even know that it's a term for a big log. I have know a few real loggers in my day and I suspect you could swat a handful of these soft handed yuppies around pretty easily.
