Hands down for everyday abuse and use the berkely IM7 rods will work for anything. I have my share of expensive rods but my boats and bank fishing hours see alot of IM7 use. They make them in spinning and drift rods and I like them for salmon and steelhead fishing. Buck for buck it is the only rod to own for less than a hundred bucks a shot!!!!
