It's probably not a "big deal" if you don't mind paying big fines for keeping a coho on the Cowlitz with its adipose fin attached. The regulations say "Salmon-no more than 2 adults. Wild coho release"! So I would be careful of what I say about "bonk em and throw em in the freezer."
