On-line purchasing, it's HERE but I don't think it is a positive trend the way it is working now.
I think the real question we need to ask ourselves as the internet supposedly is revolutionizing the way we do business is. What about your community? I don't give a damn about Walmart or any of the box stores that come into our community and put locals out of business. What I do care about is the local businesses, mom and pops, families, young people trying to live , thrive, invest and provide services to you and I (in our community). Box stores and the Inet suck money out of communities (especially rural communities).

Do they invest in kids sports programs? do they support local fishing clubs? do they support the local 4-H or senior citizens orgs.? The answer to this is VERY SELDOM.
You and I are a big contributer to the demise of the local economy when we purchase on-line and from the big box stores. WE ***** about state governement not doing enough about supporting business in WA and then we buy our stuff from Walmart or Cabellas. Kind of hypocritical. The small margin of difference in local owned business prices vs Inet and boxes is really irrelevant when you look at supporting the local economy. One of the reasons a lot of locals have had to raise prices is people are willing to drive 40 miles to save $5.

We as Americans are so consumed with low price that it gets in they way of our values and supporting our neighbors.
anyway I could go on but I really think we need to think globally and buy locally.
Support your local tackle stores, groceries, restraunts etc., support local economy and make your community a better place to live.
