Just thought I would share an experiance with you guys. Last April I was doing some golfing at a local golf course called Brookdale. There is a little creek that flows through it I believe it is called Clover creek? I was crolling the bridge on the 8th hole and noticed about 5 or 6 wakes going upstream. Me being way more interested in the fish activity than the people waiting on the tee box behind us I told them to play through while I investigated what was going on. As I got closer I realized these were steelhead. I thought that was pretty cool and for those of you who live in that area and realize how many backyards this stream flows through you'll think this was pretty cool also. I love to hike into some of my favorite fisheries and go up some of the little feeder streams and see salmon/steelhead engaging in there spawning rituals.
I think everybody should have an oppurtunity to witness something like this. thumbs
