Are you sure they were steelhead? If so, that is really cool. The reason I ask is because the local TU chapter has been bragging for a couple years that they've reintroduced salmon into that creek and have seen them up to the golf course.

Unless I've got my creeks and golf courses screwed up.

But salmon or steelhead, that's a great thing and kind of shows the resiliency of those great fish.

Unless of course they were chum, which I think can walk across a road and spawn in a mud puddle. Amazing where you can find those fish.
