Sorry man, I cannot part ways with the 1082s, but yes it's a pre-Shimano with the pac-bay guides and I believe it has the reel-seat your talking about. I already have the 1084. But, if your willing to trade the 1082c IMX for the 1143c GL3, plus I'll pay the difference between the two (I believe it's $55; $360 for the IMX 1082c, $305 for the GL3 1143c), I'd be interested for sure . My 1143 is 2 1/2 years old, but it's in excellent shape. I should mention though, it has Fuji reel-seat/guides. The 1143 is a great rod, I just don't use it much anymore.
