It was there in January. I think the Navy Ranging Facility may be be closing (?) All the Navigation Aids in the immediate area are privately maintained through the Navy and only lit when "ranging" is being conducted. To be honest, I can not recall the last time the light on Green was lit... maybe 15 years (??)

It is listed in Notice to Mariners and List of Lights as "extinguished." Might be setting a new one in place (??). I'll keep an eye out in my publications.

Sorry to hear about Green Pt. This is usually one of the better months... Maybe the bait is pushed way up pass Cutts Is. in the trench there or up off Allen Pt. Baffling the there is no bait...

Do you have a GPS? I need a scout to hit two pieces of water. Was doing some chart research looking for different underwater structure and discovered a nice pinnacle off (insert zipperlip) and a deep water ledge off (insert zipperlip). First one looks to be about a half mile troll right dab in the middle of bay... and the second is about a 1 1/2 mile troll. Let me know and I'll shoot you the Lat/Longs for waypoints. I am itching to give them a go...
