i use a large sewing needle to thread the worms onto my leaders, and i always use a bead or small corky between the hook and worm...i use an egg loop knot and occasionally will tie a tiny piece of yarn in the loop to hold scent, but the knot is not a factor in the premature destruction of my plastics...maybe it's the brand of plastics...my favorites are the seducers, they've got super action and come in at least 4 shades of pink, 2 sizes(4 1/2" and 3"), but them being that soft and supple sacrifices durability...anyone else??
