Gas prices are based upon supply and demand and at times not directly based upon the price of crude.

Because the direct suplply of gas to the West Coast is down and demand is up, we are seeing the highest prices in the country.

I drive more then most...Hell...I've put over 20k miles on my new truck since the 1st of August and I live in Everett and work in Bellevue and do alot of drving on my days off as well...it is costing me an average of another $20/week or so...its not too bad and I havent reduced my driving becuase of it.
