i have a 13' smokercraft alaskan that i bought from one of my dad's friends, they used to use it in the columbia river with 3 guys, sturgeon fishing

i've seen people fish defiance out of canoes and really small boats. i'll stick with the majority and say it'll be fine for a 12' just don't venture out too far and watch the weather
