Come on now... that kind of information isn't on the WASL. (washington Assessment of Student Learning) Yesterday i had an 8th grader at school ask me how she was supposed to dial 457-RENT. she was completely unaware of the letters under the numbers!

I joke about it here, but it is the worst thing to happen to education in a long time. We are told to teach ONLY what we Think MIGHT be on the test. Good ol' education governor Locke, is screwing up more than just fishing unfortunately. Also, State Superintendent Terry Burgeson supports this BILLION dollar sinkhole as well.... I hope they are both voted out of office and politics as well. It would do them good to have to work for a living again.
