You really where not fishing where the fish were. We fished Saturday beyond the 200' line and caught 2 hatchery coho, 3 wild coho released, and 12 humpies (two released). We started at 6:30 and had our limits buy 11:00. Then we fished this morning, Sunday, a little more selectively. We took 2 hatchery coho , 4 wild coho released, 1 humpy kept and one humpy released. We semed to stay out of the humpies this time.

Our boat is a small 14' aluminum and we had 3 people in it and did just fine. The GPS did help in the fog though...

We used silver dodgers/flashers with cut-plugged herring set at 35' on the riggers and one off the back with a Deep Six. Depth didn't matter though since we caught one at 60' and had 2 take the bait while hooking up the line on the downrigger. There's nothing like seeing a salmon taking something off the surface!!!! eek hello

[Edit] On Saturday two guys came in with two hallibut from the area 4 one day opener. The small one was about 25 pounds and the large one was an monster 80-90 pounder!!! eek eek
