State checks out of Sekiu from the weekend were very good. 552 anglers checked Sunday with 767 coho averaging 7 pounds and 47 pinks averaging 4. With the wild release rule, that means probably more than twice that many coho were actually caught. Good friend who lives there says lots of fish 12-18 pounds coming in.
