Went there looking for coho but all we could catch were blackmouths 5-15 pounds. Kept moving around but the chinooks were everywhere. Thought they were pinks at first but chinook ID was confirmed by two other boats. Finally got some keeper chinook out in the legal zone outside Tatoosh Island. Never did find any coho, but we are not experts, either, and probably should have went further out.

Neah Bay is an amazing place. It is like the Big Indian told us at the marina: "If you cannot catch fish here, then there is something wrong with you." We were glad nothing was wrong with us.
