One thing that has changed in recent years is wild fish release. I fished two rods also when it was legal in the Sound in the 70s, and had my share of double headers by myself - not always with good results But one thing I did notice was that second fish was often pretty dead by the time I got the first one played out and dealt with. Would be a shame if the second fish was a wild one that had to be released now wouldn't it?
