Grandpa: In answer to your question, which I suspect was at least somewhat rhetorical; I suspect I am smarter than some and not as smart as some. But if you took the time to read the link you would see that the NPR reporting, on the issue under discussion, was considerably more accurate than the other sources. I would like to listen to the least biased source I can, not necessarily the one that comports with all of my preconceived notions.

I have listened to NPR, off and on, for years and am often amazed by how even handed they are. Many times I have heard them supporting right wing positions and debunking some liberal beliefs. That's why I am so amazed that the true believers on the right hate NPR. I can’t speak for you, but there are some right-wingers who would rather hear what they believe than the truth. I believe they are among the most vocal critics of NPR.
