On my desk which I occupy parts of each day I have an old Advent radio which is FM only...any Henry Kloss fan will know that story..anyway no am...the only talk on that radio is NPR or some stupid other one that talks about sex all day...NPR has some in depth reports. I heard one the other day about marine santuaries in Puget Sound and though it sounded very comprehensive and fair but it had a definite slant towards the proponents of more marine santuaries...a predictable bias towards the environmentalist viewpoint....choice of guests has alot to do with the slant. I certainly don't hate NPR but do understand that it is very left leaning. If you are left leaning and think anyone to the right of your views is as you put it: a knuckle dragger..well then I guess NPR is for you 24/7. Toss in some Classic King where they whisper...and try to have a semi-aristocratic tone to their speech and bingo....you are smarter than everyone else....presto!!
