I know its a little late -- but this is my research for next year.

I hear a lot of people "trolling plugs" in the lower snohomish river for salmon in October.

Is there any particular method to this? should I be trolling with the current or against it? what about any particular side of the river or depth? What about plug types and colors?

I'd appreciate any help i could get on this topic since i'm primarily a salt-chuck angler and would like to try the river.
