I have an older fishrite driftboat with tempress fish on seats. They have weathered well, but the other day the base on one of them broke. One of my fishing buddys sets the hook pretty hard, when he did this time the seat base broke, and he ended up on my feet. Just wanted to let everyone know to check their bases. I checked the other base and it was cracked and going to break eventually. This could injure someone pretty bad if they end up on their head.
