floatandjig, you are asking the wrong question...

when summer fish are that far up the green, you just need to put something in front of their nose and they will almost always hit it. you would do just fine to use your moniker, or a spoon, or a spinner.

the question you should be asking about is run timing. 99% of fishing the upper green is finding the fish, once you do that the catching is the easy part.
