Forgive me if this is what you were doing, but I think that the most important thing to do in such a situation is to make sure that each person has their own bucket to keep their own limit in. I would analogize it to making sure that everyone in the boat or on the river has their own punchcard if you are all fishing together.

My feeling and experience is that this will remove the possibility of 99% of the problems you could have with the gamies.
