Well I dont know what dynamite kid is talking about. Sounds kind of like he is only good at float fishing in a river. Living and fishing in BC, I lean in favour of the float in almost every situation. Still, there are times when drift fishing can not be beat. About the only time I d.f. is when the water is way up and ugly brown. Then Im using magnum slinkys and big spin n glos in shallow water to really slow down my presentation.
