Hope I'm not jumping the gun, but keep in mind that the coastal bottomfishing oppurtunity may be a little different this year than in recent years. I say this in regards to what the WDFW has to say about Lingcod and Canary rockfish guidlines and stocks. And of course the whole yelloweye thing. Since rule proposals are in the process this month, we should see the exact bottomfish rules before the May 11 Halibut opener.
