Might be too late to catch you before you leave, but you might want to check the stream gage at Troy. Flows at Troy have been rising rapidly the last couple days and crested today at 3,700 cfs.

I live in LaGrande and we always try to time our trips following spikes in the hydrograph.

I'm sure if you're bait fishing, you'll be fine, but rising water and turbidity make fly fishing tough. good luck.
