We were at the other end of the lake over the weekend. The huge fire wasn't an RV. The last couple years a group of about 100 idiots starts a HUGE fire on Saturday night. Last year they lit up a stack of about 25-30 pallets. This year we watched them build a wood structure about 20' tall. We couldn't figure out what they were up to until Saturday night,when they torched it off. They had flames about 50' in the air,and it ended up catching the grass on fire in a circle about 100' across.

The worst part is there is no cell coverage out there,or they would have had a visit from the Sheriff. They get so fricken drunk they have no idea what could happen if they didn't get the grass fire stomped out.

At that end of the lake fires aren't even allowed from Apr. 1st until oct. 31. Most people ignore the fire ban,and continue to have small fires at night.
