While I did the grand opening at Sportsmans Warehouse today I felt that the store is a plus to the area but being that I live almost equal distances between Sportco and Sportsmans Warehouse I for the time being will continue to shop Sportco for most of my supplies even with the B.S bridge traffic.I found prices which were quite a bit higher in some cases which I don't quite understand the average income in Kitsap County is less than King/Pierce County, gas is even less in Silverdale than what Ive seen in King/Pierce County.I was impressed with the firearms section though I did not price anything it was about the busiest section in the place. What I noticed most in the fishing section was that a lot of the gear was lower quality kind of along the same line you would find at a Walmart or Fred Meyer also one salesmen I talked to in the fishing section didn't have a clue and the one that supposedly knew (according to clueless one)let me get one sentence out of my mouth and was gone before I could start to say what else I was looking for. I had hoped that they would have a quality fly tying section so I could get some materials to tye jigs with but I couldn't find anything there that was on my list cant make any comparison there to Sportco though the feather department at Sportco isn't any better in fact both stores could do much better in this area.I will stop in again though gives me something to do if the wife wants to go to Costco since it's right there. Maybe my expectations were to high also who knows Where in the H#ll is Cabelas I wish they would put a store in somewhere in this state maybe we should all flood them with continuous mail and phone calls till they do
