Trout Unlimited's Northshore chapter annual kid’s Fish-In was a big success again this year. Held on Lake Washington, at Tracy Owenn's park in Kenmore WA, the event host approximately 500 children of all ages. “It was the largest turn-out we have ever had” said Larry Holley, organizer and longtime Northshore volunteer. “The weather was nice and the kids sure had a ton of fun fishing at the stocked net pen”. The Northshore Chapter host’s two such events each year, where kids of ages 2-14 come and catch planted trout, some of which are 10 lbs. A second Kids Fish is held at the Beringer farms strawberry festival in Maryville WA June 19-20, 2004. To learn more about Northshore TU events contact Chris Tompkins at ctompkins84@hotmail.com
