I have a feeling that this maybe a very dumb question but it is one that I have to ask since I do not have a boat. Lake Washington can you catch Lake washingotn sockeye from the shore Caught my first ever sockeye on the baker last week and cooked it up on the BBQ for the 4th and it was awesome. In my mind ( this only an opinion please dont scold me ) Sockeye is the greatest tasting salmon that there is the meat is just blood red and juicy ( my mouth is water while thinking about it YUM )

I went up to the Baker on Saturday and the snaggers where having a field day was there for about an hour and left because it was literally disgusting watching guys snag 5 to 6 and leaving. I have the poaching hot line on my cell but it doesnt do you any good if you dont have service.

But to get back to the subject is it possible to fish for them from the shore or is it just a dumb question.
