Hello My Name is Achewter (a duck you can shoot at) and I am a Knucklehead. I always buy my combo license by the first few days of Jan because I do alot of duck and goose hunting near the end of the season. About 8 years ago I was so busy at work I couldn't get away for anything after Oct. Finaly in March we got a little time for a quick trip to Lake Rosevelt for some nice Kokenee. The day before I left I ran down to Outdoor Imporium to grab gear and a license but they wern't selling them so I hurried back to work thinking I would pick one up on the way. Unfortunatly that was the last time I thought about it until the Game wardens boat was pulling up to mine in the middle of the Lake. The gamie was a friend of a friend and we new each other, even had breakfast together and he had checked me at least three times in the past both hunting and fishing. He later apoligized for giving me the ticket because he new that I was an avid hunter and angler but that day he had his boss in the boat with him and he had no choice. I will be 40 in Oct and I have fished my hole life but this was the only time I had ever been checked on fresh water in a boat and the only day I have ever fished without a license. Yes it was fate that I will always be a NUCKLEHEAD.
