My 18 year old son was fishing under the Fall City Bridge last year with his girlfriend. He was using a spoon that we had used the winter before during the part of the year you didn't need to debarb the hook. Not looking at the regs cost him $75 plus a felony on his record. He didn't realize (nor did I) that the Snoqualmie has different regs for winter fishing vs summer fishing with regards to barbs vs no barbs. The really bad thing is we both tend to debarb everything and this was the one time he didn't as we had used the same hook in the same hole legally the winter before.
