I am not sure that redondo/pt.robinson/three tree would qualify as permanent holding areas for the fish headed south. Even if the fish were holding there to a degree, there should be others still passing through. I marked almost as many fish today as earlier this week, but no hook-ups all morning. Most people are aware of the effect of rain on fish at the rivers mouths, but I was wondering more about just the effect of the pressure drop between fri./sat./sun. on everyones catch ratio compared to the last two weeks when the weather has been constant. Or to put it another way.......Did the change (or rain) turn the bite off or was it just a coincidence?
