Just saw this post and have some thoughts on the subject.

In the salt, I have found the rain/lower pressure can turn on a good bite. This time of year, additional rain seems to bring fish into the sound, perhaps a little ahead of thier "regular" arrival.

Likewise, rising pressure seems to turm the bite off for a couple of days. When we go out of this weather system back to a higher pressure system, I won't bother to fish for a couple of days, when the pressure steadies out a bit, the bite will come back.

All that being said, fished Friday, Saturnday and Sunday locally.

Totals brought to the boat during a low pressure event.

6 Kings 5-20 lbs, 9 Silvers 4-10lbs, Combined fishing time 6.5 hours.

I'd say the bite was on.
