I went to the PSA meeting last night in Edmonds. What a great bunch of guys. The thing that impressed me, they were all fishermen. I like the idea of where they are going to hire a lobbyist to voice the sportsmen in Olympia. That may just be the ticket to being heard down there. Maybe it is time for the fishermen, or those who say they are, to step up to the plate and support this effort. We all like to fish, but it seems like the indians and the commercial guys reap the benefits of the law. It is time for change.
The presentation by Salmon University was a very learning experience. Tom Nelson was a kick to listen to! I guess that I would like members of this board to think about is joining PSA or simular group to help fight for our fishing rights in Olympia. It will be worth it in the long run. It seems so easy to complain to each other, but we have the tools to be heard, and we should be heard. Maybe GI Joes, Sportco, and some other big companies could put up donation stations to help pay for the fees involved in our quest for fisherman rights. Great team, PUGET SOUND ANGLERS
