Went to a seminar on springers at the sportsman show in Puyallup. The presenter (can't remember his name) demonstrated his setup for kwik-fish. He replaced the forward treble hook with a siwash with a #5 berkley barrel swivel. The back hook remained a treble but a #5 swivel was also added. the treble hook loop had to be cut and bent out to attach to the swivel (siwash style) but it is not difficult except those trebles that come with the kwik-fish are extremely hard and you really need a good set of sidecutters to clip them. If you switch to Gami's they clip easier. He explained that what this does is allow the fish to head shake and roll without prying against the body of the kwik-fish and potentially prying the hookset right out of his mouth.
