The thing you see people do out fishing... I saw a guy today land a female king after a long fight a$$ backwards and then after a few more minutes he tried to release it.. He was trying to do this the wrong way (nose down river so the water went in gills backwards) when she didnt respond he threw it up on the bank and went up the gravel bar got a freind to come and look at it.. After a good 10 minutes his freind walked away the guy stood there looking around for another 5 or so minutes then he decided to try and revive it again...Well by this time it was way to late so he keep trying then he gave it a little push hopeing it would catch the current and get away .. But the fish floated back to shore and another guy fishing by him told him the fish isnt going to live so he might as well keep it.. So the guy threw the fish back on the bank and just walked away from it and went up the gravel bar like nothing was going on.. I never did stay around long enough to see if he came back for it... What a WASTE of a good female king the river could have used her eggs...
