Bought a transom mount, 5 pulley, side-pull anchor system for the DB (yep, it's that far along!).

I am having some real difficulties (OK, I'm puzzled) about where these other 3 pulley's get mounted. I need to keep the anchor line away from the oar locks, but still at the "right" angles for maximum torque, etc. I can see there is a lot of physics involved with the angles of pull, etc. and don't want to tear the boat apart just pulling in the anchor.

If anyone is using a system like this:

I would sure appreciate your input, and PICTURES if you have any of where (and how) you mounted the pulleys.

Thanks, in advance, for any insight into this dilemma.

I can be finished with the boat this weekend if I can get a) the anchor pulleys mounted and b) the oars/oar locks properly mounted. (and yes, I'll post pics of it...but it still needs a name...will be open to suggestions. I was thinking "Phoenix").

All the best,

Mike
