40+ boats down the Bogey today with bank fishing folks everywhere----WOW. Ugly was the word. I took one look at the back-up at the ramp this morning and did a u-turn for upstream. It was still a circus when I got down to the hatchery. Guess it's time to start plying the Hoh for her hidden treasure.

I did manage to put the first nate of the season on the beach. This beautyful chromer didn't have a mark on him. They really do put brats to shame.



The hatchery fishing sucked, BTW. NOFISH hooked the only brat we touched today, but paid the price for missing knot tieing 101---SNAPOLA. Between his knots and Buckets neting ability it's a wonder these guys have ever boated a fish.
