I have been thinking lately that the political discussions are often name calling fights that degenerate fast. That I suppose is because the two sides, if you will, are so far apart. I started out with humor in my mind and a little sarcasm thrown in...Most of us don't know each other and I think if we did the discussons would be a bit different.

I think about how the terror threat is so all consuming and I want to take my grandson fishing and forget all the bad stuff.

And Eric if I had a view in my backyard like you do I would be pretty thankful and I'm sure you believe all the stuff I disagree with. Atleast you put some thought into what you believe..We each think the other is wrong but at the end of the day I think we want to live in peace and enjoy all the outdoor beauty we share in common.
