Yes, the tone of respect I'd like to see restored to this forum applies to those on the left including the right.

Again, its a matter of the way you carry yourself, and I don't just mean you, Rory....I mean anyone who walks in this virtual room, including myself. You can't just walk into a room full of strangers and expect them to find you respectable, you are a blank book at that point and the person who fills the pages is you. You want respect? You want me to call you by your real name? Engage in a dialog with someone just once where you don't claim you're right and that everryone who has a different opinion than you is wrong.

Rich G is prolly one of the most politically conservative dudes on this board, although painfully quiet about it. He and I have become pretty good friends on the board after arguing either side of an 'emotional' issue respectfully.

Why is it that GH, AM, h2o, et al don't speak to you as respectfully as they do kj? Read his stuff.
