Sorry but the bill he voted for would not have banned the above shotgun. Per federal gun laws that shotgun does not have a pistol grip…
This one however does….see the difference
Note: This is why the Drudge report lacks any credibility; they always get the story wrong. Get your facts straight.
This is a Ruger 10/22 with a pistol grip Stock.
This is a Custom Ruger 10/22 with a Thumbhole Stock. This is a high dollar Target Rifle it has a Pistol Grip Stock.
This is also a Ruger 10/22 in a Tactical Stock
While I have no use for the last rifle and do not own one, it is still a Ruger 10/22 and Ruger 10/22's are owned by millions of Law abidding Citizens in this country and arround the world and just because the rifle happens to have a Tactical Stock it is considered to not be "Politically Correct," but if you apply your reasoning then all Ruger 10/22 are then not "Politically Correct" and for that reason as an owner of a Factory Compliant Ruger 10/22 I have to take exception to your reasoning.
No Flames intended. I also have to take exception to your line of reasoning as I also own and hunt with a Customized Springfield 30/06 that was origionally developed as armament for our Troops and was used in both WW I & WWII. The old standbye Winchester Pump Shotgun used by many hunters today has been issued to our servicemen all the way from WW I through today and is still being used by our servicemen today in both Iraq and Afganistan.
According to your line of reasoning these fine examples of American Inginuity would also be "Politically Incorrect," because they are also fall under the catagory of Assult Weapons by your definition.
