I agree but your time frame is off. the "liberal decade". started in the 60's as a reaction to the 40's and 50's. The baby boomers have grown up and the tail end of that generation are tired of the price they have had to pay for the swing of the 60's . Even more so their kids have paid a bigger price and are rebelling. A good example is women in the workforce is at an all time low with less than 30% of college educated women choosing a career vs. being a full time mom. A direct backlash against the the daycare price they paid so tjheir mom's could be fullfilled by wha they thought was equality. Even more so the poeple are starting to grasp that Americana is really something to be proud of and is revolting against Europeanism. So we are entering a time of conservatism and the time of lieralism has passed us by for a while.
