Definitely a big improvement in the saftey department CraigO. I always use a similar system, but never had a rear bracket that worked well on my big drifter's butt end ... just too steep for the Dierks bracket to allow to drop stop to work as easily as I would have liked.

With the custom one in place, it works perfectly and the more I 've used it now in recent days since putting it on, the more I love it and happy they made one up for me!!
