To let the rope out, you simply keep a little upward tension so it slides through the block. I'll shoot a short little vid to show you

As with most anchor releases, you should always keep a knife handy to cut rope if need be, but the beauty of the system is that rope can't accidently slide out unless you want it to, so there should never be a need
