With Loomis I pay $20 for shipping and I am back in the game in no time. With a custom rod, I assume only the blank has a warranty, which means you pay for it to be re-wrapped and wait for the work to be done? Looking for info, as this is a big reason I have never gone the custom wrap route to date.

Thanks. NCD.

I'd say your less apt to slam it in your car door.. lol.. You'll get a far superior rod by having it custom wrapped.. GENERALLY SPEAKING of course.. \:\)

But yes, your warranty would only cover the blank.. On a good note, usually when a rod is broken, it's just the top half, which is a fairly quick and easy re-wrap for most rod-builders...
