Bushbear, thats funny, i've always found both tides to be good, but the low slack to be better! I too have found a lot of crabs and shrimp in them along with some greenling and octopus in some as well!!! Guess it depends on the depth and environment u catch them in and i've caught them in 60feet of water clear to 400 feet!
